To The Ends of The Earth

"Operation World" is a prayer strategy that Westmont has adopted in which we will be praying for a different country every Sunday and Wednesday during our services.  We have also asked each member of our church family to adopt a country to pray for throughout the 2017 year.  This prayer challenge has been extended to our Connect Groups and Awana classes.  It is our goal and prayer to have prayed for every country in the world by the end of the 2017 calendar year.  Also, it is our hopes that this prayer challenge will help introduce and educate our church body concerning the spiritual and physical needs other countries are facing as prayer is lifted up on their behalf.  Please check our www.operationworld.org for more information on how you can be involved.  The link can be found on our home page.

Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Shoe Box ministry is a wonderful ministry in which our congregation has partnered.  During the months of October and November, our church collects various items and supplies for children in foreign countries which are packed into shoe boxes that will be shipped throughout the world and distributed to children in need as a Christmas Gift with a special gospel message.   It's our goal that these shoe boxes, will not only put a smile on the children's faces, but more importantly, each child will have on opportunity for the Word of God to be planted inside their hearts!  It's our prayer that the Word and this simple gift will spring forth into salvation in Jesus Christ for countless children across the globe.

Westmont Baptist proudly partners with the International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention to help reach those who do not have a gospel witness.  This is accomplished through the "Lottie Moon Mission Offering" collected during the months of November and December.

Limitless.  That’s a word we’ve used recently at IMB to describe our vision for partnering with Southern Baptist churches and other Great Commission Christians. We want to vastly expand our missions efforts for the spread of the gospel to every people group on the planet.  People groups who are not only un-engaged and un-reached, but up until now, have been totally un-contacted by the outside world …

In view of these realities and opportunities, we don’t have time to stay stagnant, much less shrink back. The gospel is too good and our God is too great. We must do all that we can to see an ever-increasing, Christ-exalting, Spirit-filled force of men and women pursuing the nations for the glory of his name.  That’s why we exist: to partner with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are making disciples and multiplying churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.
